Software Engineer Interview Experience - Seattle, Washington

Positive ExperienceGot Offer

Process

The process started with a phone interview with the hiring manager, which went well. It was a simple chat, with no technical questions involved.

This was followed by an in-person interview, which consisted of a series of four interviews with managers from different departments.

Mostly technical questions and whiteboarding were involved. The questions were relatively easy compared to those from software giants like Microsoft, Google, and Amazon.

The only curveball encountered was an unexpected interview with the CTO. I wasn't prepared, but it turned out okay.

Questions

The elevator question is probably the most difficult question overall, but still relatively simple once you get your head straight and beat your nervousness.

Question: Write a solution to operate elevators in a 10-story building.
