The process was really nice.
I was contacted by DoorDash staff and hopped on a call. We discussed a bit about my experience, etc.
The next step was a take-home exercise, which took about 4-5 hours. It was domain-specific, involving writing a relevant application.
I had a phone review over the project, along with a few comments and questions that were Swift-related. The interviewer was on point, possessing good knowledge of Swift, design patterns, etc.
The next step was coming over for an onsite interview.
The onsite was broken down into four steps:
Lunchtime was in between.
Some of these interviews were pretty lengthy (over 1 hour), but it seems like these guys knew what they were looking for. A developer who works on real code with experience in designing code properly, good debugging skills, and good networking skills would pass.
