Process
I had applied online to receive a phone call from the recruiter. A take-home coding exercise was used for initial screening.
I almost fell through the cracks, but one last follow-up and I was passed on to another recruiter.
From there onwards, I had:
- Two coding interviews
- One system design interview
- One hiring manager interview

Most interviews went well, except for one coding interview where I ended up with a greedy solution.

Pros: The tech stack is interesting. They use more modern technologies and languages. The best thing here is that they provide a fairly reasonable compensation package that always feels fair.
Cons: Managers are hit or miss. The organization I worked for was super hectic with a lack of communication, standardized processes, or clear goals/vision. Each meeting with my skip level had different goals that never matched the goals that the team had decided to follow. The processes also always worked against engineers, and you were left relying on goodwill. Timelines were always decided by product managers instead of engineers.
