First, there was a HackerRank screening. Once that was passed, there were two over-the-phone coding interviews.
After that, there was also a values interview.
The interviewers were both great and really helpful, as was the recruiter I worked with.

Pros: Decent compensation. Tony Xu does a good job of keeping Wall Street bullish on the company, and is a clever guy.
Cons: I left before the layoffs of 2022, so I have no idea what company culture is like now. I would not describe the teams I worked with as collaborative.

Pros: I never thought I'd spend my own money to buy products with the company logo, but that's DoorDash. Hard not to become a fan.
Startup freedom and flexibility with the support and opportunities of a global big tech.
Cons: The health plan could be better to match other big techs, but I imagine it will improve with a larger number of employees.
