IPO Will Be a Disaster

Pros: - I love my view from the Tower.
- I have a ton of options since I came pretty early.
- Lots of cool people to work with.
Cons: So much dilution in shares that everyone who thinks we're going to be rich from this IPO is delusional.
So many young managers hurt the morale of the teams. Honestly, these kids are way too inexperienced.
We're far behind in the Enterprise space but kicking butt in the Consumer space. I think it's too late to catch up on the Enterprise side, but for some reason, we keep wasting time and energy here.

Pros: - Decent compensation.
- Top-notch benefits.
- Remote-first culture.
- Folks from L1 to L5 are pretty good; they are talented and kind.
Cons: - Leadership (specifically the new VPs of EPD, yes, we have new VPs for Engineering, Product, and Design) is clueless.
- Core: Has nothing interesting to do, and the Engineering LT in Core has an extremely low hiring bar.
- Dash: Talented people, decent LT, no idea how to make people pay for Dash.
- Career growth is almost impossible, especially L4 onwards, unless you are buddies with the right people.
