Pair programming with two programmers.
It's a simple exercise, but if you don't approach it the way the interviewer expects, you might receive negative feedback even if you don't deserve it. One example is when I decided to use TDD and didn't run the provided codebase. Instead, I focused on writing tests and advancing the domain class where most of the requested features for the test were to be added. At the end of the interview, I was criticized for not running the application until after an hour of programming.
