Manager, Software Development Interview Experience - Toronto, Ontario

December 1, 2024
Negative ExperienceNo Offer

Process

The process involved a phone screen, followed by interview panels covering coding, system design, and culture – the usual steps.

The interview process went well and was scheduled over two days.

At the end, they rejected the candidate with a flimsy excuse.

What's astounding is that they proceeded through the full interview panel, only to reject the candidate. Recently, they posted the exact same job opening.

How is it possible that with hundreds of applicants and a selected few candidates to interview, they haven't found someone to fill the position?

Why waste candidates' time with this fake, ghost job?

Their recruitment materials paint a picture of a company that values diversity, equity, and inclusion, but the interview process tells a different story.
