A good place to play sports

Java Test Platform Development • Former Employee

Shanghai, Shanghai, China

Pros: Flexible work time, kind salary for interns, a good personal tutor, lifelong friends, endless drinks available, and you can get endless help from tutors!

Cons: It takes time to wait for an offer. Sometimes "head accounts" are limited in some years. I didn't get an offer since October and waited until mid-February. By that time, I had already gone away to pursue master's degrees.

Best employer of my career (and I worked in many companies)

Senior Software Engineer • Current Employee

Kleinmachnow, Brandenburg, Germany

Pros: - People - Culture - Management - Transparency - It's a profitable and sustainable business. - Compensation (only the big US companies like Amazon can compete). - Work-life balance. - Flexibility at work. - Trust by upper management. - Trust by middle management. - Positive colleagues, no toxicity whatsoever. - Psychologically safe environment to fail together and learn from it.

Cons: Zero. I literally haven't found any cons.

Great perks, ambiguous strategies

Software Engineer • Former Employee

Bellevue, Washington, United States

February 20, 2020

Pros: Great perks for employees and women; generally nice people.

Cons: Not a great place for engineers. Too many org changes and layoffs in the past two years have obviously demotivated current employees. Unclear strategy from top leadership makes success metrics hard to track. They need a tech CEO, not execs who only care about bottom-line cash flow.
