Pros: It's been one year to the day since I started at Elastic. I love it here! No joke, so far it is great. My managers are really caring and go out of their way for you. The company is growing and investing in its employees. I enjoy waking up and helping move this company forward. Please do not lose what makes this company great.

Cons: I really do not have much to say in the way of a con. Maybe more swag, lol.

Pros: Super environment to work in - flexible, supportive.

Cons: Highly distributed - it's also a benefit. But with spread-out employees comes challenges to keep us all communicating. Elastic does a great job of addressing this.

Pros: - True remote culture - Some good managers and people with passion - Good compensation & benefits

Cons: - Too many management layers without proper decision-makers. - Managers and engineers are afraid to make decisions. This is a result of the last layoff, which was clearly top-level mismanagement. - Personal opinions are valued over common goals. This creates chaos and makes products lack vision.
