Pros: The core "source code" driving the startup is still core to our evolution to enterprise. Access to everyone and everything; willingness of others to help with your issues and support your growth. Encouraging everyone to contribute and build a voice. "Stay in your lane" is not a thing here. If you see something that needs fixing, say something and you're supported to get it fixed. Tech moves fast, constant learning is a requirement; support to spend the time to learn. If you need a change, you have support to do so.

Cons: Pains and changes are growing from 1k employees to 3k. Evolving processes are keeping the sand shifting, so it takes more focus to find your balance and niche. There's a long learning curve due to our OSS roots and how we try to make all assets easier for enterprise buyers. We've always been remote, but need to rebuild the culture disrupted from rapid growth during Covid. We have not fully returned to the community we once were, but at least corporate is trying new things to bring it back.

Pros: - True remote culture - Some good managers and people with passion - Good compensation & benefits

Cons: - Too many management layers without proper decision-makers. - Managers and engineers are afraid to make decisions. This is a result of the last layoff, which was clearly top-level mismanagement. - Personal opinions are valued over common goals. This creates chaos and makes products lack vision.

Pros: Salary, benefits, and colleagues are all on the positive side. I enjoy the technology and good management.

Cons: Time zones can be a challenge, but coms is carried out mostly async.
