Since Elastic’s engineering org is distributed-first, I had several independently-scheduled video calls with team members around the globe: a 30-minute discovery with the recruiter, a 45-minute screening with the team lead, three 45-minute technical interviews, and finally a half-hour final screening with the SVP of Engineering. We were able to get through the process very quickly, in part because I gave my recruiter my entire availability for the week and gave him carte-blanche to schedule as he needed.
