The interview was interesting, as I could talk in English and Portuguese with both the area leader and Brazilian game testers. There were great questions about gaming and QA testing. I felt comfortable during the process.

Pros: Testing video games wasn't an overly difficult job, and the people I worked with were great. Management was exceptional.

Cons: The company was more worried about "incurring more costs related to employment," i.e., being forced to provide health benefits to hourly employees, than it was about the timing of 'layoffs'.

Got rid of me before I was even employed for a year to avoid providing health benefits

Pros: Testing video games wasn't an overly difficult job, and the people I worked with were great. Management was exceptional.

Cons: The company was more worried about "incurring more costs related to employment," i.e., being forced to provide health benefits to hourly employees, than it was about the timing of 'layoffs'.
