Group discussion followed by an aptitude round. Then, I had a one-on-one with the hiring manager, who was looking at how well I fit into the team. We had a brief meeting of over an hour where we had a formal and informal chat. Then, I had an HR round where we discussed the package.

Fun while it lasted, but gets old fast

Pros: Can be a fun environment depending on the project, project team members, and team leader.
Diverse coworkers, good exposure to the industry with hands-on involvement in game development, and a solid teamwork-type atmosphere.
Cons: Competitive environment. Experience often dependent on team members and team leader. Difficult to get promoted. Somewhat overworked and underpaid. No leverage for employees because there is always a long line of replacements waiting to take your spot if you rock the boat. Rigid hierarchy of departmental management. Development personnel (sometimes understandably so) maintains distance from QA personnel.

Pros: Getting to play with games and entering the games technologies, plus getting to test games firsthand before anyone sees them.
Cons: Bad salary for the amount of work done. The smallest QA tester for EA in the world, and too many requirements.

Pros: The collective of people working at said company are pretty much great.
They respect their schedule and their paydays.
EA Romania has great facilities and it's a very social environment.
Cons: No "real" benefits, such as medical or dental. The pay is not worth the work (262.64 USD/month). There is no real chance of promotion or advancement in any way, except for a 10% pay raise (maybe) after 9 months (starting salary is 238.76 USD).
The computers and consoles break down on a daily basis and are not replaced, just "mended". The headphones are 90% broken, so most just bring their own from home.
