Pros

They pay well; they don't pull any shady stuff with overtime (they pay for it).

It's a steady and stable job. Their turnover is predictable (game launches). It's a professional environment.

I would recommend it to anyone that needs their bank account to have more money in it.

Cons

Baffling design decisions descend from the executive level late into projects. This doesn't have much impact as a foot soldier, beyond more overtime pay, but can be pretty frustrating for a feature owner.

Acceptable work is treated about the same as exceptional work. While they will give you small raises and promotions for doing your work, they are not heavy on promoting excellence.

Advice to Management

Probably let designers do designing. There is a lot of talent hired, but frequently input is coming from people not in the design team.
