I submitted my resume and a quick online application at a school career fair.
Within 2 days, I was contacted and did a brief phone interview for "fit." Several weeks later, I completed a few skills assessment tests and then was asked, a week later, to come to Epic's office in Wisconsin to interview.
They flew me out, paid for everything, and then had me spend a day at the company. During the day, there were many small meetings. The first one was an explanation of the company, seminar-style, with many other interviewees.
Throughout the day, I met with other people who did the QA job, met other interviewees, ate lunch, and got a tour of the campus. I was also asked to prepare a small presentation, and I participated in a short case study.
Two weeks later, I got a call and an offer. It was a nice offer, but I did not take it purely because of the location.
