Process

I was referred to EPIC by a current employee. The day after sending in my application, I was contacted to complete a series of tests.

The logic/reading based tests were pretty easy, but the technical skills test got me. I forgot that even though one of the tests didn't have a time limit, it would be scored on accuracy and speed, so while I got most of the correct answers, I realized I'd taken a really, really long time to finish.

I was also invited to do an interview, and I did it before they received my test results. I had an excellent interview with a current QA person. He was nice, answered all of my questions, and said it was an excellent interview.

I'm really convinced my mistake on the test was what got me; I've heard from EPIC employees that they take those tests very, very seriously. Oh well, guess it wasn't meant to be. Good luck to everyone else!
