Process

The hiring process was long. All correspondence, including the telephone interview, was conducted by people most likely younger than myself (only 23 yrs old). The process consisted of a personality test, phone interview, and skills test.

Two weeks later, I was asked to come over to Madison (this takes the entire day).

My interview started with a 1:1 interview, which was a project presentation. After this was a programming test consisting of 3 questions. Next was a 2-minute quicky comprising of 10 IQ questions, followed by a skills test in which a booklet of a new language is given, and you have to answer questions pertaining to that. This was a one-hour test.

After this was another programming test comprising of 2 questions.

That was all. The day started at 9 in the morning and ended at 4 in the evening. The interview lasted for 7 hours but was well paid.

Questions

Replace the occurrences of 'a' in a string with 'the'. The 'a' should be preceded and followed by a space.
