Process

They reached out to me to apply online. Once I filled out the form, they emailed me asking for my availability for an initial phone interview.

They also asked, at this step, that I complete a personality assessment and a skills assessment (one more focused on my ability to learn the basics to a coding language and another that was more like the yearly standardized assessments from primary and secondary school). I could complete these before the phone interview or shortly thereafter.

A week later, they called about my salary expectations and then asked me to fill out another online form concerning my availability to go to their campus to interview.

The on-site interview was pretty relaxed. Mine started with an introduction to their product, followed by an overview of the position and a short group activity where we were asked how we would go about testing the quality of a randomly selected object.

After that, there was a case interview where I read over some information and then was asked about how I would respond and prioritize my time; there were also follow-up questions.

That was followed by an interview with an HR representative (mostly your standard "Why Epic?", "What's an area of improvement you have?", etc).

I had lunch with two other candidates and an Epic employee; he was wonderful and even walked us back from lunch on a different route so we could see more of the campus.

My day ended with a very short tour of the campus and a trip down the indoor slide.
