Flexible Work, Different Focus

Pros: Good food and a beautiful campus. Lots of flexibility from day to day. Deadlines don't feel unpleasantly tight, and I'm generally steered towards doing things I care about.
Cons: Not necessarily a con, but something to be aware of: most of my time isn't programming. I spend a lot of time designing UIs, triaging issues, and learning about healthcare. It's a very different experience from my college computer science classes.
Also, regardless of your position, you'll probably travel a lot for Epic.
The worst thing to say about Epic is likely that it can encourage an unhealthy work-life balance, but this is heavily dependent on what team you're on and what boundaries you choose to set.
