Initial 30-minute phone interview followed by an "officially untimed" technical assessment. The assessment is done through a third party and, for me, involved two sections: one with 20 multiple-choice questions and another with 4 coding problems ("write a method to do..."). The multiple-choice section involved answering questions about a made-up programming language. Conceptually, it was not very difficult, but because you can't ask any questions whatsoever, except for technical ones, I had a hard time picking the "correct" answer. For example, several of the questions asked for the output of some line of code, but without knowing the compiler's behavior, several of the answer choices could have been correct.
