Epic has a pretty intense screening process. The Skills Assessments, required before the on-site interview, took about 2 hours each and required someone to be watching you through your computer to ensure that you don't cheat.

The phone interview was mostly behavioral, to ensure that I was a good fit for the position and the company.

The on-site interview was very enjoyable. I interviewed along with 15-20 other candidates that day, though I'm not certain how many of them were applying for the same position as me. I had 4 interviews:

• One was more of an informative Q&A about the position.
• One involved me presenting about a project I was proud of.
• One was a technical interview asking me how I would approach solving a particular problem.
• The last was an HR behavioral interview.

Give a 20-minute presentation on a project you are proud of.
