Epic is reckless of employee health and safety. The work from home policy is outdated and rooted in "culture" rather than facts.
Racist upper management is allowed to directly address POC and groups associated with diversity internally with no repercussions.
Leadership who speak up against harmful and dangerous work from campus policy are demoted.
Internal methods of dissent and transparent feedback are eliminated.
Pay is generally good, but not for QA. We are currently below industry standard and consistently receive the lowest raises and bonuses compared to other roles within Epic.
It is made well known that everyone, across roles, is dispensable.
Multiple rounds of interviews, including a knowledge/skills test and an in-person visit (pre-COVID). The in-person visit had us go through various scenarios for client relations, then finished with an interview with an HR representative.
The test is actually quite straightforward and shouldn’t be too difficult. Also, the final stage interview is basically a victory lap; you are 90% of the way there at that point.
All pretty clear and straightforward. Liked the flexibility in scheduling. No surprises. Had to complete a variety of assessments. The interview was not very memorable and felt somewhat impersonal and curt.
