Process
The process was very swift. I applied online, had a call with the recruiter who arranged a call with the Engineering Manager. A quick round with him included a coding challenge.
Then I was invited for further rounds of interviews, which were scheduled for the same day with breaks.
The interview panel consisted of:
- Staff Engineer
- Product Designer
- 2 Senior Engineers
- Engineering Manager
- Hiring Manager
Overall, it was a very nice interview process. There was no rush, and I was given a lot of time to talk through my projects and skills.
Questions
Cannot disclose the actual questions, but the interview included:
- Debugging an application in a coding challenge.
- A string manipulation question in a coding challenge.
- Explaining different technologies and why I chose to use them in my career.

Pros: Amazing work-life balance, fun office culture, very inclusive, and the best benefits I’ve had at a job.
Cons: Compensation in the form of stock has been steadily decreasing, and it’s hard to see it reversing.
Promotions and performance reviews incentivize competing with your co-workers.
The executive team seems to change direction frequently, and re-orgs are disruptive.
