I was called for an interview by HR.
When I arrived five minutes ahead of time, I was asked to sit in the office by the security person at the reception.
I waited there for 40 minutes. Then, I received a call from the same HR, who said she would come upstairs from a break to meet me because the person who was supposed to take my interview had already left the office.
When I asked why I wasn't told initially, the answer was: "It skipped her mind."
I have more than two decades of experience in this industry, and this is what I had to go through. I can't imagine what would be happening with juniors.
In my opinion, humanity comes first.
Although there are some very good people in the tech team that I know, and the company is also very well known to retain good resources.
