The Geneva HR is nonexistent. Throughout the painful interview process, there's an HR who mixes up your name and doesn't keep track of how many interviews you've done. I received two different emails for another candidate.
There's no structure to the interviews. They ask odd questions like:
- How many hotels are in Istanbul?
- Describe Java to a beginner in 2 minutes.
In the end, I didn't get an offer because the interviewer was "concerned" about my ability to explain things, even though I'm applying for a coding job, not a public speaking job.
