Online application with a technical phone screening.
Technical phone screening:
- Got connected through BlueJeans.
- The interviewer asked about my background and experience.
- We jumped onto a CoderPad question.
- After 2-3 minutes, the interviewer started asking technical questions while I was thinking about the algorithm.
- The interviewer was not willing to give enough time to come up with the algorithm. Very rude.
- The call ended before the scheduled time.
Disappointed due to the manager's behavior.

Cons: I was laid off with very short notice. My whole team and department were impacted. I received an email about possible layoffs, and the next day a bunch of people were laid off. The severance was decent.

2. Various products you can work on if you are interested
3. It's all about travel; who doesn't like travel?
Cons: 1. Unclear vision and focus from leadership after 2017, and losing brand values (many customers are coming from search engines).
2. Politics and toxic culture grew in some organizations under EG, but there has not been much improvement.
3. Many good employees with competencies have left the company, but people who do not seem to know what they are doing climb up the ladder.
