Android Engineer Interview Experience - London, United Kingdom

Process

I applied online, and the process took two weeks.

The interview process included:

  • First round: A screening call with a recruiter discussing my background, experience, salary expectations, and other details.
  • Second round: A LeetCode-style coding task on a call with an engineer. The question was breadth-first search-based.
  • Final round: Two behavioral interviews and one systems design interview, which would take three hours.

At this point, I was asked for my availability. I provided it and was never contacted again.

Prior to being ghosted, the recruiter was very responsive. They generally gave feedback and details on the next stage within twenty-four hours of the previous interview. The recruiter's calendar wasn't very accommodating for the UK timezone, despite interviewing for UK roles.
