Senior Software Engineer Interview Experience - Jacksonville, Florida

Process

The interview process was fairly easy. I applied through their careers portal.

A recruiter called me and marketed the company for 20 minutes, then asked me to introduce myself in the remaining 10 minutes. They mentioned that they would get back after speaking with the hiring manager.

They reached back out in 10 days and scheduled a 30-minute technical call with the hiring manager, where I was bombarded with back-to-back technical questions on my background and experience.

The feedback from this round was excellent, and so I was moved to the next 1-hour technical round with two senior team members (which was supposed to be a coding round as per the manager's feedback).

However, this round consisted of the same questions as the manager's, just with a bit more deep diving. A coding question was asked only after one hour was over, as extra time, which was very easy.

Questions

  • Simple array coding problem.
  • Difference between SQL and NoSQL.
  • Java simple questions.
  • Concurrency and multithreading.
