Pros

Pros were many initially, but there has been a paradigm shift. New and latest tech specs are used. Learning capabilities are mammoth, depending on the team you are working with.

Cons
  1. Working from home to work from office, mandating 3 days.

  2. In terms of flexibility, when someone is expected to work with US counterparts late at night and report to the office the next day, that is not flexibility.

  3. Meetings are not adjusted for the India office; people don't even consider if it is a Friday evening. They will just throw a meeting invite at you.

  4. The appraisal cycle was moved by another 6 months with no logical explanation given. It was not made clear if those 6 months would be compensated or not. Nothing was put forward logically.

  5. Due to recent developments, a new term has been introduced: cost-cutting. So, there will be no team lunches, which already had a very low budget and happened once every quarter.

  6. The Diwali gift budget has been seeing a new low every year, so this year management decided to cut that off completely.

  7. Bonus was cut short by some percentage, citing a reason that the company did not do well. If the company did well at some stage, the bonus was not increased.

  8. No fun activities other than Dandiya and Rangoli.

No cafeteria within office premises; you will hardly get an option to eat other than finding a few cookies and fruits at times.

Advice to Management

Management is advised to look at Glassdoor reviews and improve a little.
