Phone screen process: The recruiter was rude. For example, they said, "I'm not sure you are ready for this position. Maybe I will float your resume past the hiring manager, but I'm not sure I will." Immediately after saying this, they asked about my salary and compensation to try and get me to say a lower number.

First interview: The hiring manager was nice and asked basic questions. They would even guide me toward an answer if they were looking for a specific word or phrase. They were enthusiastic about hearing my background and interested in people joining the team.

I was selected for the next technical interview and asked to set up a time. Once I selected a time, the recruiter said nothing for three weeks, despite me emailing them about progress. They eventually sent a response saying they had moved on with other candidates. Why ask me to pick an interview time?
