Pros: - Good pay - No micromanagement - Learning days - Encouraged to move within company

Cons: The LEAP program has been terrible. It is essentially 4 more months of college after you graduate. Lots of hand-holding and forced classroom-style learning. Instructor-led training is mostly a waste of time here. There's a high chance that you will be working with an outdated tech stack after LEAP. You may also be placed into an unfavorable role with little to no technical mentorship and with minimal transferrable skills. They will try to tell you that Fidelity is a "tech company that does finance," but this is not the case. In short, not a great place for new software engineers. If you have another offer, I would highly recommend considering working elsewhere.

Pros: Compensation is good. Cutting-edge technology. Work-life balance. Finance industry leadership. Good benefits.

Cons: No cons as such. The company is really good, though there is less onsite opportunity in case you are looking to work out of India.

Pros: Really relaxed culture. Managers are great and really want to work with/get to know you. The Boston office is in a great location. Pay for SWE is the highest paying internship besides quant. Fidelity is such a great company at the end of the day...people stick around for decades.

Cons: The Merrimack office is honestly terrible unless you live in the area. For a high achiever, there was not enough work. I ended up not learning much.
