- Poor work-life balance due to an overly strict in-office policy — management closely monitors attendance and the number of hours spent on-site.
- Ineffective engineering management — many leaders lack proper communication skills, technical and domain knowledge, accountability, and motivation, making them unfit for their positions.
Don't try to gaslight your employees.
