Process

A 20-minute recruiter call was followed by a live coding interview.

The interview consisted of four questions, each progressively more difficult.

I successfully solved the first two questions. I had a solution for the third, but it wasn't working due to time constraints. I discussed how to make it work and also briefly discussed the fourth question.

Questions

A question about a game where players have tokens. You need to implement a function that returns true if a player can buy a card.

Example:

Cost of Card: 2 White, 1 Black, and 4 Blue

  • If Player has: 2 White, 2 Black, and 4 Blue, the method will return true.
  • If Player has: 2 White, 2 Green, and 4 Blue, the method will return false.
