Software Engineer Interview Experience - San Francisco, California

Process

The interview process involved a Coderpad session followed by an onsite meeting. The CTO described it as a "Google-like" interview. I would describe it as "Google Lite." It wasn't particularly long, and the coding sessions felt lightweight. This wasn't necessarily a bad thing; at least all the questions were relevant.

I am intrigued by their business's potential, but it rubbed me the wrong way how they act like they are already the saviors of international shipping.

I also noticed that there wasn't a lot of smiling around the office, except among the management team. It's an open office, and I was there during lunch, so I saw quite a few people. It might be because they had hired a lot of new people, and people were still getting settled. However, it felt weird.
