Pros

Seemingly limitless supply of assets to throw at a project.

Cons

With rare exception, the engineering is at an average level.

What is exceptional is farmed out to suppliers and contract people. It's more about pushing paper than making the best cars.

If you have principles about wanting to make a good product for what you are paid, then Ford is an awkward place to be.

If you want to fight off boredom and collect a check, then I can't recommend Ford enough.

Advice to Management

Drop everything not to do with building vehicles (i.e., Artificial Intelligence, global politics, etc.) and become the best at making cost-effective products for working people.

Oh yeah, knock off designed obsolescence; your reputation is tanking faster than your profits are climbing.
