Usually, company culture is reasonable. There is always someone you can talk to if there are any issues.
There's a lot of internal politics in the company. Promotions are not merit-based.
A lot of internal references make it easy to get promoted, even though someone doesn't have domain knowledge.
Layoffs were very abrupt and without notice whatsoever. It was very unfair the way they were conducted. The way they were conducted was very disrespectful towards the employees who have given so much of their life to the company. Potentially, different options could have been explored before laying people off from teams that were consistently delivering and have relevant work in the company on the rise.
