Starting pay, but after that the base pay does not keep up with inflation.
You will work long hours.
No profit sharing.
You will have to pay for health insurance, and the coverage is poor. Hourly people get full profit sharing and fully paid health insurance.
Also, raises do not even keep up with inflation. The average raise is 1-2%.
Management will tell you that you get overtime, so you should be happy.
You need to treat the salaried folk better.
Salaried workers on the floor at the plants, which by the way make all the money for the company, are expected to have no life. You make people work six or seven days a week.
How about a new car at actual cost every couple of years? That would be a real benefit. The A-plan is a joke; you can get the same deal most of the time without it.
How about profit sharing also? The AICP is a joke and was done to avoid paying the lower salaried grades so that management can have more money.
Starts with phone then in person. People were nice and informative. Would definitely interview again. I like the job, people, and the location; all are a plus. Long-term, this seems to be a true career.
Ghosted at scheduled time, no response. Very unprofessional, no response to follow up. Maybe it was just my recruiter, but I hope the process improves in the future if I'm ever in the process of interviewing here again.
2 rounds of interview 1. Recruiter screen 2. HM round: general questions 3. 3 people panel interview 4. 3 people panel interview 5. 3 people panel interview
