Pros

Broad range of employees that are very diverse.

Really feels like a family at work.

Actual overtime.

Cons

You will spend most of your days at work. You are "voluntold" a lot. Rotations or staying over for overtime are basically mandatory.

You are made to feel guilty or like a bad employee for even taking a sick day. Almost all of salary is doing a mix of others' work directions. There is never an emphasis on work being brought to departments that it should not be in.

Not much room for growth.

Advice to Management

Go over each department's job responsibilities.

Those they were given when they were hired.

Stop making people do so much work that falls outside of that spectrum, or work that is already classified to another department.

Come up with more permanent schedules for a better work-life balance. Some people actually prefer nights over days.
