Ford pays engineers a decent amount. If you get into the Ohio assembly plant as a worker, you can get paid just as much, if not more, than the engineers.
Unfortunately, some people who have worked there for decades have developed a poor work-life balance that they then expect from you.
Line workers on the floor can make more money than engineers.

One phone interview with the would-be boss and a local supervisor. Passed that and then was invited to an in-plant interview where I met the team I would be working with and toured the plant. Accepted the offer shortly after.
Starts with phone then in person. People were nice and informative. Would definitely interview again. I like the job, people, and the location; all are a plus. Long-term, this seems to be a true career.
All online. There was a lot of red tape even to apply. I had to take a personal test. I was very surprised when they never asked me any technical questions.
