Work-life balance is hard to maintain.
The higher up you get, the more time you are expected to sacrifice to the plant.
A lot of finger-pointing and politics arise when work needs to be done.
Sometimes your engineering team can only do so much. Don't expect them to come in on weekends when they really don't need to.
