Pros: Flexible working environment, strong peer support

Cons: Lack of process, weak management, lack of strategy, and decision making.

Pros: Great technology and company vision. The company and its finances are strong and well-positioned for future growth. Co-workers are very good and essentially willing to help, but management is an issue (see below).

Cons: Mgmt in EMEA/INTL is very French and has no real focus. Lots of internal politics and unwillingness to interoperate between regions and teams.

Pros: Since joining Fortinet at the end of June, I’ve been genuinely impressed by the company’s professionalism and strong engineering culture. Teams collaborate efficiently, communication is clear, and execution is highly disciplined. What I appreciate most is my manager’s truth-seeking attitude. Whenever an issue arises, he focuses on identifying the real root cause and finding the right long-term solution, rather than covering up problems or chasing superficial results. This level of integrity and technical rigor is very different from some of my past experiences, where management was more concerned with presenting good outcomes than addressing underlying risks or code quality. My manager and colleagues demonstrate deep expertise and strong leadership, and I’ve already gained valuable hands-on experience in systems, networking, and security. The environment truly encourages continuous learning and high-quality engineering work. I’m proud to be part of Fortinet and look forward to growing together with the team.
