Four years ago, I would have given this company four stars or more.
There aren’t any pros left.
They have implemented stack ranking without telling us how we are being ranked and refuse to put any of it in writing.
Every quarter, 10% will be put on a coaching plan and given 45 days to complete it or else termination will occur. If you end up in the bottom 10% again, automatic termination.
Below-market compensation.
Benefits continue to be taken away or replaced with lower-quality ones.
Raises are lower than before, even for high performers.
Lower management is forced to pick employees to be rated a 1 or 2 (out of 5), even if everyone was higher than a 2.
I am a top performer and am not on any corrective action. This company is being run into the ground.
Reverse course. Your actions over the last 24 months have killed morale and all sense of GEICO Pride that made this company great.
It is beyond obvious that this company is now being run by a hedge-fund manager instead of a human being with half a conscience.
Had 3 LeetCode interviews, but after that, was supposed to be system design and behavioral. I’d say the process was smooth, but they had terrible interviewers that didn’t communicate whatsoever during interviews.
Pretty standard: coding, plus system design and behavioral. There were two system design interviews, and the coding interview was somewhat challenging. If you have done these sorts of interviews before, you will do well.
Initially, an intro call with the recruiter. Then, a call with the team manager. And after that, 4 rounds of loop. Interviews were: * 2 data structures * 1 system design * 1 leadership skills
