Willing to teach you from the ground up. Good work/life balance. Opportunity is there if you seek it. Great people to work with. I started right after graduating college and learned a lot to kick start my career.

Lower salary than other companies. Older and more outdated tech. Upper management doesn’t seem to trust employees. Work from home is looked down on because they think we will slack off. Not a place to stay in long term for growth in tech.

Trust that employees will do their work. There are a lot of people who don’t, though. The optimal solution would be to get rid of those people and raise the salaries of everyone else to market standard instead of punishing those that work hard for the slackers’ behavior.
