There are several interview rounds (I attended 4), each one with different potential colleagues and HR managers. The point of these interviews is to make sure they are employing the right person for this position. The exhausting part is that the candidate needs to sit there and has several questions shot at him/her for up to an hour each time.
For the same reason, I can't think of more questions to post and help; I was very focused on answering at that moment and now I can't remember. But overall, I would say I understand why such a procedure is followed and I agree with it because in a company this big, it is not easy to just hire any person, and the employer has to be extra careful.
