Engineer/Technologist Interview Experience - Erie, Pennsylvania

January 1, 2012
Negative ExperienceGot Offer

Process

Highly structured and impersonal.

I was referred by another employee. Only because of this did I receive an interview.

I had been applying on my own without the employee referral for 6 months on over a dozen positions before I got a response.

Questions

Behavioral-based questions. The most ridiculous question I have ever been asked was by GE. It was, "If you were part of a bicycle, which part would you be and why?" Luckily, I didn't laugh.
