Pros: I worked in the Seattle GE Healthcare office for 3 months as an Edison Engineering intern. The experience had good benefits and pay, and little micromanagement. I was able to present my work at all-hands meetings, which made me feel like a part of the team. Seattle is pleasant in the summer.

Cons: Slow corporate feel, lack of young employees, cubicle life. Filling out goals was a pain. This particular office seemed to be on the decline, with layoffs happening during my brief stay. The environment was far from electric.

Pros: Nice if you want to hide away from your duties. You could be pretty bad and get lost in the crowd.

Cons: Nothing exciting to work on. Leadership doesn't listen to the workers. Nobody reviewed my code, like, seriously? I could be writing terrible code and nobody would know.

Pros: Great leadership courses are available to all levels of employees.

Cons: As a conglomerate in regulated industries, it is difficult for any one individual to feel they can make a real difference.
