Poor management – most of the managers are GE first-timers. They were never taught how to lead.
Too many management and decision levels paralyzing operations.
Once people reach management level, they often change positions frequently (especially in the US). This makes management unaccountable for decisions and management style.
Start learning management from people who do it in a good way (often outside the GE bubble).
