The benefits are awesome. The main reason I decided to join the GE team is because they will pay for college.
The company is too big at times. The systems in place slow down the workflow.
When I was hired on, I was told that there were bonus systems in place. For example, a quarterly safety bonus. I have been with the company through many quarters and have yet to see a bonus.
Team fit was the most important aspect, and the technical questions were more about process than architecture or standards. OOP wasn't discussed. Most of the topics were based on tools used.
Consisted of HireVues, which then led to an Arctic Shores, eventually a final interview. This was a really easy process, but make sure you are a British national before applying.
Good, but long. Flew in for a few interviews, did most of the others remotely or over the phone. Nice staff, fairly transparent on what benefits are. Would recommend; good area.
