Over 15 years with GE.
Did lots of roles.
Very diverse and best in class in company culture.
Solid technologies and products - no fluff.
Fantastic senior leadership.
Too many re-orgs. Lot of layers were created and then flattened, resulting in reinventing orgs over and over again. Some mid-managers were not a good fit and spoiled the work environment.
Be more careful in promoting or grooming people into their first manager role.
Fairly easy.
3 rounds of interview: 1. HR 2. Technical (Rigorous Level) 3. Engineering Head 4. Final HR Round. The second stage technical round was the most difficult one, taken by a team of two members.
Expect 3-4 people asking example-based questions. They are big on hitting numbers and showing how you did it. They will ask leading questions with follow-ups from a PDF. You might get the same questions from multiple interviewers. Salary will not
