Long hours expected without compensation. Very slow promotion. Very small salaries. Pay freezes and small raises.
I saw two people get fired via email. I was micromanaged by no less than three managers, who had to ask me about projects that they should have been asking each other about. There is a huge breakdown of communication with management. Corporate only comes down to speak to the engineers when something is terribly wrong, and even then, they usually make them wait in a conference room for no less than 30 minutes before arriving.
Recruiters came to our campus for hiring. There was a simple test first, a theoretical multiple choice. Shortlisted candidates were then interviewed. The engineering manager and HR interviews each lasted approximately 1 hour.
It was good. Not very time-taking. However, three senior leaders took the interview together. The HR interview was easy. Not many questions were asked; it was mostly on salary expectation. Overall experience is good.
